Alex's First Trip
On our boy's 6th Bithday, we decided to take him to Disney Land. He should be so happy, he will see all his favorite cartoons, and ride rollercosters.
We woke on time to get to the airport. It took us quite a while to arrive. Everything was going smoothly until...little Alex starts asking for a hamburger. We told him he will have to wait until lunch, because he had already had breakfast. Little Alex couldn't take a "no". He started having a huge tantrum infront of everyone. Stephanie and I we're embarrassed. We couldn't find the way to make him stop. I seriously wanted to smack him..(but that't not a right thing to do to a child). We gave in and decided to buy him an icecream to calm him down, and guess what? It worked. He didn't give us any more problems.

Alexander Masaac is a 5 year-old!
Alex turns 5...time goes so quickly..
Alex seems to be kind of egocentric. He doesn't like to share toys with his classmates. Just yesterday, his teacher summoned us to a meeting with her. She told us that our little Alexander got into a fight with one of his classmate, Timoteo. Apparently they were fighting over waterbottles. Both of us had a talk with Alexander. He knows better not to fight, specially not over silly stuff. Sadly we grounded him for a week. No TV or videogames. This should be a lesson to behave and always find peaceful solutions.

Alexander's 4th Birthday!
It's Alexanders 4th B-day!
We are so happy he has made it this far. Sadly he doesn't share our happiness. Alex has lost his favorite toy..his teddy bear. He started crying for his loss. We didn't want him to be sad the day of his birthday, so we made up a story. Stephanie told Alexander that his teddy bear, Margarito, went on a one-day vacation. That night, we left little Alex with his grandmother, and we looked for the same teddy bear at Toys 'R Us. The next day Alex woke up and found "Margarito" besides him. He bought our harmless lie.

Next week, Alex will be starting school. He will be assisting the E.I.S. We plan on being authoritative parents. We will demand good grades and exert rules, but we will explain why we place certain rules. Hopefully we will raise him correctly..

Potty Training
Alexander turns 3!
He understands the concept of conservation.
He has formed an attachment to his mother. He rathers spending time with her..not that im jelouse of it..When we took him to the doctored, he got scared, because he didn't know who the doctor was. When Alex saw him, he cowered and looked for Stephanie instead of me.
Good news, Alex now uses that toilet. One less mess to clean! Cleaning up his mess gets annoying. Sometimes he would soil himself shortly after being bathed.

Alexander Turns 2!
Our sprouts second b-day! This is ever so exiting!
Our child is beginning the Sensorimotor Stage. He represents ideas with objects. For example, yesterday, Alexander started bagging his spoon to tell us he was hungry. During this stage, our toddler can meditate, think deeper than just objects around him. Alexander likes to wander around the house looking for things that will intrigue him. During this period, we will start seeing his creativity
Our 1 Year-Old!
Today, our beloved son turns 1!
He now creates schemas- concepts- to interpret the world around. He’s also going through motor development. Soon he will be able to walk. During this months our baby boy will be learning to cognitive skills- retaining and interpreting information. He now knows that he can move objects. Some nights he starts playing with his rattler, keeping us up until he finally decides to sleep.
Alexander's Birth
After 9 months of waiting for this special moment, Alexander is born! We can recall every step of developing progress. I remember when the doctor gave us the news that one of the sperm cells had penetrated the egg and fertilized it, creating a Zygote. Two weeks later, we could see images of our little sprout. He looked weird. That's because he was in the process of forming organs, or in the Embryo Stage. Nine weeks later, we saw images of the fetus. Now Alex looked more like a human.
Luckily our child is healthy. During pregnancy, we made sure no teratogens affected his future.

When designing the nursery, we took in mind safety issues. Babies, as you know, are very fragile. Little Alexanders can easily die if he falls or receives hard bump on his head. Thus, we decided to fill his crib with cotton to keep me safe from falls/bumps.
We also did some research for supplies we will need. Some of them are:
Diapers Food Extras
Toys Books
Clothes Medicine

Taking care of our baby won't be cheap...we will atleast spend 800$ on baby expenses.
